    3. Hi Ken, I have a Brumbaugh line going back from my gggrandmother, Barbara Brumbaugh, born26 Sep 1834 in PA. Her father was David J. Brumbaugh, b. 12 Nov 1797 in PA, son of William Brumbaugh, b. Abt 1762, Bedford, PA, son of Jacob "Jockel" Brumbaugh, b. 27 Nov 1734 in Wuertemberg, Germany. He died 13 Aug 1816 in Hopewell Twp, Huntingdon Cty, PA. Jacob's father was Johannes Heinrich Brumbaugh, b. 28 Dec 1709 in Wuerttemberg, Baden, Germany. He emigrated to America with his family and died between 1761 and 1801 in PA. Jacob had a son named John born 28 Feb 1762 in Bedford, PA, too late for your Anna Maria. However, Jacob might have had a brother named Johannes, since that was his father's name. This is stab in the dark, but there are similar names. 3. Have you checked the "Genealogy of Brumbach Families" by Gaius Marcus Brumbaugh c. 1913? It would probably have what you are looking for or try this web site: http://www.gencircles.com/users/jespat/4 Jesse Davis has a web site which includes the Brumbaugh's.
