Susan Moses later married Daniel Brumbaugh and Emily Brumbaugh Patterson is a half -sister to Annie. Daniel was born in 1810 and died Nov. 4, 1870. He was the son of William Brumbaugh (B-1762 and Died 1215/1827) William was the son of Jacob "Jockel" Brumbaugh. Jacob was the first son of Joannes Henrich Brumbach, the immigrant. I hope this helps you, I am still researching Annie Oakley. If I find any more info I will let you know. Feel free to E-mail me at VeraFromCo@webtv.net.

Susan Moses later married Daniel Brumbaugh so Daniel was step-father to Annie. Daniel was born in 1810 and died Nov.4, 1870. Daniel was son of William Brumbaugh. William was born in 1762 in Bedford Co, Pennsylvania. William died 12/15/1827 in Amity, Ohio. William was the son of Jacob "Jockel" Brumaugh. Jacob was the first chid of Johannes Henrich Brumbach. I understand, through a book about Annie Oakley, that she had a half-sister, Emily Brumbaugh Patterson. I am trying to research more about Annie. The book I have is Annie Oakley by Shirl Kasper. But I know there are other books. I am related to Johannes H through his son Jacob, Henry,Jacob, Jacob and my father, Clarence Brumbaugh, Grandfather Jacob and gr-grandfather Jacob are both buried in Round Lake Cemetery in Whitley County, Indiana. I hope this clears up the Annie Oakley relationship.

I checked in the Brule County (South Dakota) History Book which my father bought for me in 1977. It says that Johannes Henrich was the last to use the Brumbach last name. Then it goes on to say he was the great great grandfather of Moses. It goes on from there telling of Moses' family. I have alot of history from Moses on because he was my great great grandfather. Hope this help.

I just learned that I am connected to Jacob and Conrad (both sons of Johannes Henrich). My ggrandmother is connected to Jacob and my ggrandfather is connected to Conrad, both about 5 generations down. I have a lot of information on Jacob but not very much on Conrad any would be helpful. Thanks!! Email me at MEAL827@Hotmail.com
I understand, but can't prove that Daniel Brumbaugh (William, Jacob, Johannes Henrich--this linage is from the G.M. Brumbaugh book) married Susan Moses (nee Wise) after the death of Jacob Moses. Daniel and Susan are the parents of Emily. Jacob and Susan are the parents of Phoebe Anne Moses (AKA Annie Oakley). I've seen a picture of Emily at the museum in Greenville, Ohio. It's about 110 miles from Columbia City. BTW, I worked one summer in Columbia City. They have an Annie Oakley room there. Annie's grave site is nearby. I posted a photo in the Virtual Cemetery (http://www.genealogy.com/VG/00/00/11/82/37/0000118237/index.html) and also her husband Frank Butler's (http://www.genealogy.com/VG/00/00/11/82/39/0000118239/index.html). The Darke County Genealogical Society's collection is housed at The Garst Museum located at 205 N Broadway, Greenville, Ohio. The DCGS website is at http://www.grandlake.net/darkegen/society.htm. The museum phone is 513-548-5250. We found the museum very interest. I'd recommend a visit. Do you know the birth date, marriage date, spouse name, and death date for Emily?
