    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: BRUHN, WEHMEYER Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/RQG.2ACEB/136.1.1.2 Message Board Post: I am the researcher and author of the article referred to in Ms. Tooley's reply. The location of the tombstone to which you refer is in Hills of Shaenfield subdivision, WEST (not east) of FM1604. The original developer's plans included a small park at the location of the gravesite, but since it has been taken over by another developer, I don't know what will happen. What is sad is that direct descendents of Christina Weyel Bruhn who sold the property to the developer have no interest in preserving their heritage. I have discovered another descendent through an obituary in the San Antonio Express-News. There does not seem to be any interest on their part to preserve the site either. I am too old to concern myself with the issue anymore and have shut down the email address listed in the article because the only messages it got were spam. I reside between the gravesite and FM1604. You can find me in the phone book if you want make contact.
