I have a picture of William's mother and sister, I have pictures of someone named Agusta Aultof which I think must be on his side of the famiy, But other than that no clues. Try two = forgot part of what I wanted to say. Our Henry Bruhns, son of Fredrich and Elizabeth was Henry William. My grandfather, John, used the name Bruhn, although the rest of the family seemed to have used Bruhns.

Not sure who you are trying to reach, but I also have a Bruhn/Bruhns who came from Germany (Mackelburg) and settled in Illinois about 1850. His name was Henrich Fredrich or maybe Fredrich Henrich, I have seen it both ways. He married a Elizabeth (last name unknown) from Prussia. Believe his DOB was 1827. They had four sons all born in Illinois John, Toby, Allouis and Henry. They moved to Coffey County Kansas and all died there. John was my grandfather. I have tried for years to find Elizabeth's last name and the ships they came on. I believe that they met and married in the US, but don't know that for sure.
