I am looking for my Bruce ancestors who lived in the Yorkshire area. John Bruce (born 1755 Farnham) married Elizabeth. Their son Thomas (born 1778 Rothwell) married Mary. Thomas and Mary had several children... William Bruce 1821 Burton Leonard John Bruce 1817 Bately Maria Bruce 1814 Burton Leonard and my ancestor *Charles Bruce 1810 Burton Leonard. Charles married twice. His first wife was Jane and his second (my connection) was Elizabeth (born 1809 Boroughbridge) Charles and Elizabeth had 3 children..Charles, Maria and Elizabeth (born 1844). I am searching for possible connections through Thomas and Marys children. Is there anyone who may be descended from William, Maria or Johh? I have had no luck in finding out about my Bruce line. I am still searching to find whether we are Scottish or English. Need help please!!!!!!! Thank you Amanda
