    2. In a message dated 99-01-07 13:26:46 EST, you write: << X-Message: #1 Date: Wed, 6 Jan 1999 18:02:25 -0800 From: "icorn" <icorn@i1.net> To: BRUCE-L@rootsweb.com Message-Id: <199901070024.SAA25721@mail1.i1.net> Subject: Bruce Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Peter Eli Bruce was somehow connected to the Reynolds Allen family, I think he was married to Reynolds Allen daughter. He was also connected to the Keeton family thru the Allens. Would anyone know how he was connected to the Keetons..I believe this was in Wake Co, NC about 1753-60. I need help connecting. Thanks Sally Keeton Eichhorn >> Sally, You'll probably hear from several of us on this BRUCE list who may be connected to PETER ELI BRUCE....our ancestor was ALLEN BRUCE b ca 1770-1780 (place unknown at present), d before 1850 Iredell/Alexander Co, NC. ALLEN BRUCE mar in March 1805, Iredell Co, NC to ELIZABETH GARLICK b ca 1785 (census states VA), d June 1873 Lancaster/Kershaw Co, SC - buried in Hanging Rock Methodist Ch Cem where her grave & tombstone still exists today. ALLEN BRUCE's grave site is unknown at this time, but most likely in Iredell/Alexander Co, NC. ELIZABETH (GARLICK) BRUCE was the dau of LEWIS & WINNEE (____) GARLICK, according to info given on her tombstone. Some BRUCE & ALLEN researchers have put forward the theory that our ALLEN BRUCE is the son of PETER ELI BRUCE & w, _______ (ALLEN) BRUCE. Thus far, we haven't found anything to confirm this theory. I am sending you by private Email a snail address of someone who might be able to help you, but who is not "on-line." You may already know this person, if not, be sure & say that I sent you when you write..... Would like to see more of your lines & it's good to see some familiar BRUCE info on here.... ttyl, Sarah Howell Studstill
