Culpeper Co DB E p 357-59 dated 19 Mar 1767, Benjamin Cave mortgages to Andrew Shepherd and Company, merchants, 109 acres he purchased of George Bruce. Culpeper DB F p 202-04, 7 Jan 1771, Charles Bruce witnesses deed between Sarah Strother of Orange Co and John Wharton of Culpeper. Charles Bruce proved deed 21 Jan 1771. Culpeper DB E p 599-601 8 Aug 1768, deed between Allen Wiley and wife Eve of Culpeper Co and Charles Bruce of Orange Co.
