I would like to join in this search because I believe my James Bruce who was born in 1808, probably in Sumner County TN was a member of this family or of the family of Robert Bruce. I believe this James lived a few years in Sumner Co. at the same time his brothers William and Robert were there. William remained, James moved to Bedford Co., and Robert moved to IL. I'd like to hear more on this. Joyce
