Ceridwen, I see that your JAMES BRUCE died in Chapel Hill,Bedford Co,Tn..Chapel Hill is in Marshall County,not very far from the Bedford County line. However,at the time of his death (1822) it may have been in Bedford Co. I wish I could tell you I have his ancestors,but,instead I believe I have part of his descendants.The deceased members of this family are all buried in the Simmons Family Cemetery in Williamsn Co,Tn.This is an area which is also close to the Marshall Co. line.The name James was so popular in this family,that James Moses Bruce named his oldest James Helton (died 1994) and his youngest son James Moses Jr.(born abt. 1934).
