Does anyone know what became of the James BRUCE who arrived in South Carolin in 1716? He was a Jacobite prisoner who was sent to SC on the ship Savannah. He sailed from Liverpool 7 May 1716. Is he connected with the James BRUCE who settle the Wolf Creek area of Pendleton district? Is anyone else researching the James BRUCE line from Wolk Creek?
