Hello Rooters, We are looking for any information regarding 6 brothers who were born to William (?) Bruce and Ella Chambers Bruce between the years of 1885 - 1901. Their names were: George Oliver Bruce, born 1/12/1889, married to Sophie Theurich Raymond Bruce, birthdate unknown, married to Lillian Wesley Gordon Bruce, birthdate unknown, married to Ida Allison Bruce, birthdate unknown, married to Mae Lord Nelson Bruce, born 3/21/1898, married to Minnie Taylor Octavius Bruce, born October 28, 1901, married to Doris Hammond At a very young age, these boys were put in New York Orphanage (later became Graham-Windham School) in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. After completing elementary school, some of them were sent to Kansas to work on farms. In exchange, the farmer guaranteed that the boys would have a high school education.
