David Bruce is listed in the 1900 census for Coahoma Co., Mississipi. This census gives the following info for him: born May 1859 in Missouri, was a farmer, wife is Rosa, born Mar 1875 in MS, had child Fred Bruce, born Sep 1898. Fred died in Cincinnati, OH 10 Jan 1927. Fred Bruce's death certificate says that his mother, Rose Bruce, nee Owens, was born in Birmingham, Alabama and that Fred was born 29 Sep 1898. Fred worked at Bethesda Hospital, Cincinnati.
