Clodfelter (b: c. 1833) son of Frederick and Nancy Clodfelter Elizabeth Bruce: b: c 1841, Caryville, Campbell County married: Issac Muzingo George R. Bruce: b: 1844, served with Co.H, 2nd TN Volunteer Infantry in Civil War John N. Bruce: b: Sept 1844, Caryville, Campell County served with Co. H, 2nd TN Volunteer Infantry in Civil War Married: Sarah David, 31 Mar 1864, at Jacksboro Sarah David: b: 24 Nov 1845, d: 22 Mar 1916 Children: John B. (5 Dec 1861), Thomas ( 23 Jan 1865), Daniel (2 Feb 1867), Burnitta (19 Jul 1871), L.O. (daughter, 19 Dec 1876), Jacob (16 Jan 1879), Wiley (23 Jul 1881), J. Thorton (10 Oct 1883), Brownlow (27 Oct 1886) John N. Bruce became an invalid from wounds in a Civil War battle. He was a POW for about 6 months. He died on 25 Mar 1911 and is buried in Baird Cemetery, Elk Valley, Campbell County where the family lived.
