The information I seek is: Who are his parents, when and where did he die? Was he married and if so, to whom? George BRUCE who purchased 400 A on the Contrary Creek 7 April 1749. This was purchased from William SPILLER of King William Co (VA)and Anthony WALKE Junr of Prince George Co., VA. It was witnessed by T. B. SMITH, Robert HARRIS, Thomas WALKER, John GRINSTEAD. Adjoining property of Mr. CHISWELL and Col. MERIWETHER on Black Swamp. In 1758 George BRUCE of Lunenburg Co mortgaged the same property to James LITTLEPAGE of Hanover Co (VA?). This was witnesseed by John DARICOTT, Jno. WINSTON, Samuel OVERTON, Thos. WILKERSON. Any one with an interest in this George Bruce?
