I have the family Bible of William Pickett BRUCE and his wife Orra B. NORVELL. William Pickett BRUCE was born 7 Dec 1832 in Fleming Co KY. and was the son of George Stubblefield BRUCE and Sabina METCALF. Orra B. Norvell was born 7 July 1840 in Carlisle, KY an was the daughter of William and Emily G. NORVELL. There is a newspaper article with the Bible about a Miss Mamie GORDON, daughter of Thomas GORDON. There is no relationship established in the Bible so perhaps the "G" is for GORDON??? This family, along with other family members went to Cincinnati, and Minneapolis.
