I had an Aunt whose name was Elton Bruce Fox. Her husband was Charles Bruce, so she was known as Brucie Bruce. I am not sure where the Elton came from. A Great Uncle of mine, Thomas Sinclair Fox had a daughter Elton Virginia Fox, all in the same family. My ggGrandfather was Alexander Bruce, born 7/7/77 in Greenock, Scotland. He came to this country as a stowaway, and lived in MD before moving to Culpeper, VA. He married Ann Adams from Charles County, MD in 1812.
