His brother was Ebenezer Bruce born 1800 also in Greenwich, MA. Joel Bruce is found in the 1850 census - Nashua, Hillsborough , NH as follows: Joel Bruce 44 MA Harriet 43 VT Nancy 17 MA Sydney 14 NH Angeline 11 MA Joel 6 NH What happened to this Bruce family? Can not locate them after the 1850 census. They seem to have migrated back and forth between New Hampshire and Massachusetts up to this point. His brother Ebenezer Bruce married in Greenwich MA to Almira Blackmer. They moved to Woodbury VT and remained there. Can not locate Joel or their parents James & Sarah or Sally Wright.
