I am seeking a Florence BRUCE may have been born between 1873-1880ish. (Different dates from different sources) She married in Middle TN where she lived the rest of her life. She died around 1967 in TN Buried in Banks Cem. Lewis or Lawrence, TN area. All sources tell me her parents were John BRUCE and Lavicia "Vicey" Nelson. I believe her father may have been married before and possible died during child birth. As I cannot find this family in census records, in the TN area and have no clues as to where they may have come from, All census after she married George POTTS in 1895 say she was from Middle TN. I have her in the 1920 - 1900 census really need the 1890 census as many of us do. Haven't located John & Vicey in the 1880 census. Any clues would be thrilling. I did locate her parents tombstone in Middle TN also. It is said by family members today that her siblings are.... Callie, Susie, also have heard there was an Ellen, Ben & Brady/Bradley. If any of this sounds like something you can help me with I would deeply appreciate it as I can only get back to the 1870. With all lines in my family tree.
