Greetings to one and all! I recieved this little tidbit from another genealogy researcher who sent off a copy of the Bruce Memoirs to the Elizabeth Town Historical Society in Pa. It tells of the new names of some of the places mentioned in the memoirs. If there is anyone out there who does not have a copy of these memoirs and is interested please let me know and I will e-mail it to you, post-haste. In the article it mentions Newel's Store. We know that to have been New Store & that was what Elizabeth was first called. It should be Peters Creek & not Peteso Creek Catfish Camp is Washington, PA Redstone is the area in Fayette County near Uniontown, but I'm not real clear on the exact spot. That's all.
