I am a descendant of James Bruce, who married Helen White in Largo, Fife, Scotland in November 1833. They had the following children: John, b. 1834 Ann, b. 1836 Mary, b. 1838 James, b. 1840 William, b. 1842 Robert, b. 1844 Helen, b. 1847 My line is through daughter Ann, b. 1836, who married John Colcleugh (later changed to Calcluth) and moved to Greenock, Renfrew Co., Scotland. A few months ago I found another researcher named Sara Johnston Allen on the GenForum Message Board, who is also working on this line, but I haven't been able to make contact with her.
