I don't see why not, Linda. It's not the same as spamming. I'm sure the list owner would let you know if it were not acceptable. I have long been intrigued by the Bruce motto, FUIMUS. My Latin, such as it is, reads this as "We have been." It is an easy translation, but seems an odd motto. No one has explained any subtle second meaning to me over the 45 years I have wondered about it.
