I don't have much at all on the Bruce family. I have a Harriett Bruce, born abt 1821 in S. C. She married Richard "Dick" Glaze, b. abt 1819 in S. C,.-died Aug 4, 1863 Lauderdale Springs, MS. He was in Co. K, 24th S. C. Inf. These are their known children : 1..Amelia / Peramelia Glaze, b. Dec 1845 S. C. married (1st) W. Roberts, her second marriage was to Oscar Weaver. 2..William F. Glaze, b. Jan 16, 1847 Turkry Creek, S. C....married Ellen Courtney Reece / Rease. 3..John Glaze, b. abt 1848 S.C. 4. R. Sarah Glaze, b. abt 1849 S.C. 5..Samuel Glaze, b. abt 1851 S.
