I am looking for ancestors, decedents and/or siblings of Silas Bruce from SC. This is not the Silas Bruce that died in Edgefield, SC in about 1830. I have already checked him out. My Silas was born in about 1800 and married Mary (Polly) Ferguson. They were living in Lawrence Co., AL by 1839. I have found 4 children Spartan Bruce b 1826 in SC; married Mary A. Looney April 30, 1849, ( my gggrand parents); James Bruce b 1839 in AL; Anderson b in AL and Nancy. Nancy was married at least 3 times, 1st to Jesse Kitchen in 1835; 2nd Elon A. Southerland in 1843; 3rd Reason R Barnes or Burnes in 1850. Silas and Mary are on the 1860 census but not on the 1870 census. I am sure they are dead by 1870 but can't find where they are buried.
