Hi, I"m new to the list and want to know if there is anyone else researching James Bruce of Wolf Creek, South Carolina b. 1735 d. 1819. For awhile we thought that our James was descended from John Bruce of Aberdeen, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Has anybody else researching our branch of the Bruce Family Tree been able to get farther back than this James?
