Here are my Bruce ancestors, commencing with my g-g-g-g-g-grandparents. All events up until generation 4 began emigrating are in Caithness, mainly Latheron and Watten parishes. The emigration was mainly to NZ and to Florida, with one or two to Australia and one to South Africa, and perhaps two to Canada. I have good data for many more descendants of Walter Bruce. I would be delighted to make contact with any Bruce/Gunn/McKay/Sutherland/Forbes/Munro/etc who may be descended from any of these. A particular member who wrote some excellent family history was Reverend George Sutherland whose document dates from 1909/1912, and was updated after his death in 1937.
