I am looking for my grandfathers relatives. I don't really have much to go on. I am doing this for my mother's benefit. She never got to meet him due to World War 2. Here is the info I have and hope someone will recognize the names and get in touch with me. My grandfathers name was Sidney A. Bruce. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 20, 1920. He was in the U.S. Army and served in WW2 in France. I know he has a brother by the name of J.D. Bruce that was married to a woman with the name of "Beattie" (only name we knew her of) J.D. worked in or around Atlanta at an Arrow Shirt Company. Not sure of the years. They did have a son name is unknown. He married my grandmother Ina Inez Hampton on March 2, 1942 had a set of twins, boy and a girl. He never got to see his children. He was killed on his way home from the war on August 7, 1945. He was also stationed at Camp Blanding in Starke, Florida for a short time.
