I enjoy buying lovely old pictures like these from antique dealers and locating descendants/family members so that I can re-unite them, for only my costs, with people who will treasure them. The photo was taken by the Baldridge Studio in Cedar Rapids, IA – which is in Linn Co. Alice appears to be about age 22, give or take a few years, and she is standing outside amidst bushes, and is wearing a medium colored mid-calf length dress. Her hair is either dark blond or light brown. The picture is in very good condition and is an original (not a copy). The picture is postcard size, mounted in the photographer’s 4-¾” x 7-¼” frame, as was typical during those days.
