Hello listers. I recently enquired about the BRUCE home in Quincy, County Gadsden, Florida and received some excellent photographs and history relevant to the house. However I did not make contact with any relatives. However some scraps of information may help. My great-granduncle, JAMES BRUCE and his wife Laura [nee Turner] were the last Bruce residents of this historic home, built in the 1820s and currently fully restored. They lived in it from 1915 until 1921 when it was sold. I have information that James Bruce had a 'cousin' in the area whose name was GIFFORD RHODES, and in a pre-1920 photograph of the home is a young lady whose name was LILLY MAY BRUCE RHODES.
