Hi list. I am still looking for my g grandfather William Bruce (listed as WR Bruce on some records). He was born around Aug of 1867 or 1866 in Scotland. He married Helen Cooper of Brechin Angus Scotland. I show them in New York City in 1888 but I do not know when they came over. Daughter Mary (my grandmother) born in 1888 and son William born in 1894. I show them returning from a trip to Scotland in 1895 on the Ellis Island records. They show that they were not US citizens in 1895. I next show them living in Jersey City, NJ. Any help would be much appreciated. Mary Jones TX US
