Bruce who came to Philadelphia in I think 1816. I say I think, because I really haven't been able to pin it down definitivly. The first time I have anything definite is his marriage to Mary M. Daughenbaugh who was from PA, the next time an Illinois census of 1850, which lists his wife and children, and finally his cemetary record in La Porte City, Iowa 1878.
