Asa and Frances are listed on the 1850 Hickory County, MO census. Listed in the very next household there is a Charlie(Charles) Bruce w/family. I am trying to track down leads. On the 1860 Census rhere was a boarder living with Asa that married my G Grandmother. The Johnson group moved to Texas with or shortly after my Harlow group moved (1874) there (Burnet County). My GGG Grandfather (Overton Harlow) married in Wilson County, TN in 1812 and Sumner County, TN has or had a large Harlow group during the early 1800s. Also, the father-law of Overton Harlow, Thomas Hunt married a woman named Bruce for his second marriage. Don't know if these Bruce families are connected or not. Confused yet? Sorry! Gary
