I have Robert G. Bruce in the 1850 Illinois census, and cemetary records in Iowa. I have a list of children. I can't seem to find out where he is from exactly. Most of my research from famuly has him coming from Scotland, but the boat I think he came over on is the Hope in 1816. Landing in Philadelphia, he married a gal by the name of Mary M. DAUGHENBAUGH.
