I have traced it back to a Robert William Bruce born 1797 in Scotland married to a Hannah Mease. They had three children Christina, James and George. George Bruce born 1846 in Huntington County, PA married to a Hattie Maples they have 7 children. Hattie was also married to a Long and had a daughter Ruth Long. The 7 children were born in Freeprot, IL oldest being born 1870. Their names are George Fredrick "Fred", Franklin Jefferson, Edward Walter "Ed" born in 1873 in Brandon(Harrison Township), IA , Irvin Floyd "Irve" born in IA, Bryon Andrew "Bide" born in IA, Ruda Addell "Ada" born in IA and Cora born in IA. I am related to the Edward Walter he is my Great-Grandfather. Anyone with info on any of these people please let me know. Thank You
