Family stories say there were relatives in Beaver County, PA who were ministers. Don't know... exactly. (William Bruce died in Mercer Co. in 1912, was married to Mary Moore, daughter of Elijah Moore & Eliza Dean (earlier from Harlansburg). William's death certificate lists his parents as George Bruce & Nancy Cox.)
