Bruce possibly born in Yates NY in 1840 to Horace Adalmer Bruce Sr. I show that Horace Sr. died in South Bend, Indiana 12/24/1891. My connection was Horace Bruce Jr., my GG Grandfather, who was Charles' brother. I have the Bruces' back several more generations, but I've never been able to spend the time to get documentation on it. What's your connection to the Charles H. Bruce? I'd love to share more info if this appears to be the right Bruce line.
