Frances, I do have subscriptions to both GenealogyLibray.com and Ancestry.com. Both of them are VERY good. Well worth the money for someone who does not have access to nearby repositories of records. I use them both on a daily basis and think they are both equal in value and although there is some duplication of material, each has a different set of record types that are accessed via their individual libraries and databases. You can always choose to subscribe for the 1 month plan and after trying them out decide which you like better and call them back and change subscription to a yearly one. Hope this helps.
