Hi! I just discovered this mailing list and hope someone can give me some clues. Does anyone know of an Elender or Elenor Bruce (maiden name unknown) who was in Jackson Co. TN in 1850. I have her descendents but cannot find husband or ancestors. Children were: Jefferson b. 1824, George b. 1830, Jane b.1833, Rufus b. 1840,. James b. 1845 and possibly Catherine b. 1852.
