I have just started research a BRUCE line in England. This is what I have found so far. Richard BRUCE was married to someone with the given name of Ann. They had a daughter named Ann who married Edward SMITH. Edward and Ann (BRUCE) SMITH had 2 sons, Jesse age 29 and Cornelius Smith age 24, still living at home, also a grandaughter Rosanna Haines age 14, all on the 1851 census of St. Luke Parish, Finsbury, Middlesex, England. I believe they also had a son Josiah and probably several others including 2 daughters. Rosanna HAINES came to Michigan in 1856 along with her grandmother Ann SMITH, her aunt Ann Jones and uncle Cornelius Smith. They went to the home of her uncle Josiah SMITH in Michigan. If this fits into anyones BRUCE line please let me know. I have another BRUCE line but I will save that until next time. Thanks, Joan
