Thomas E. Broyles, born 08 Nov 1830 (according to headstone) but he could have actually been born as early as 1825. Thomas E. Broyles died 13 Feb. 1903 and is buried in Union Grove Cemetary, Dekalb Co., Alabama. According to the death certificate of his son James (which states father's name and place of birth),Thomas was born in Kentucky. Not sure what year he came to Alabama. His wife's name MAY have been Catherine. Son James Thomas Broyles was born 04 Sep 1870 in Alabama (county unknown). He died 13 Mar 1929 and is bured in Union Grove Cemetary, Dekalb Co., AL. James Thomas Broyles was married on 21 Oct 1888 to Rebecca Charlotte Hairston. Trying to find the Broyles family in Kentucky with whom Thomas connects. Thanks for any info. anyone can give on Thomas.
