Folks, please pardon me once again. I think I have finally straightened out the problem with my new system of not sending to all recipients on the "Notify Me" list, of those who have signed up to receive notification when John posts new Notes and I have transferred them to the web site. I bought a new Gateway 600 MHz system to better handle all the work I do with these Mailing Lists, and, in the process of getting Eudora Pro to work properly with the new system, there were some "glitches". Some of you who sent me a "Notify Me" email from the web site, in the past 2 weeks, may not have been receiving all the notifications. What I need is for anyone who has not received any notifications for the past couple of weeks to let me know, so I can re-add your email addresses to the list. And, if any of you who asked to be removed from the list, during the past 2 weeks, received the latest notification, please let me know and I will remove your email address. Somewhere along the way, the new system "erased" the list of email addresses for the "Notify Me". I had to copy the list from my old system, which means that some new additions are not now on the list, and some who asked to be removed are still on the list. I am now "backing up" the Notify Me list so that if it happens again, I will at least have most of it correct. Evidently Eudora is having problems with the new system when it comes to naming files in the Eudora Address Book with non-alpha characters. Again, I'm sorry for cluttering up the Lists with this, but I don't know what else to do. Thanks, SgtGeorge George W. Durman Listowner
