I just happened in on this conversation, and don't know the full context. I am fairly new to genealogical activities, but have done enough research to determine that I descended from Michael Broyles of Cambell County, TN as well, through his daughter Hannah (b 1827), who married Lewis Baird. Without looking, I think some of my research determined that he was a minister as well? Was he Methodist? I am interested in any leads I can find in continuing my own research on the Broyles line of my own family, and also in living relatives from this part of my family background.
