    3. Hello- I don't have much. I know that Madison is the son of Elizabeth Harvey and Ephraim Broyles. He was born 1 Nov 1807 in Monroe Co, VA and married Catharine Plow. In the 1840 and 1850 census, Elizabeth (Harvey) Broyles was living in Madison Co, IN. Another Plow that I found was Hannah Plow, who married Gimison Broyles Oct, 1839 in IN. Gimison was the son of Zacharias and Susanna E (Riner) Broyles; and died near Elwood, IN in 1897. Hannah was the dau of A and H Plow. Both Hannah and Gimison were buried in a "Cemetery in Van Buren Township, one mile south of Summitville, IN." They had 5 children that I am aware of: Susan, Malinda, Martha, George W, and Taylor Zacharias, all of whom were born in Madison Co, IN. I hope this helps some- Kathy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marijean TImmons" <mari@iquest.net> To: <BROYLES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, August 11, 2003 1:24 PM Subject: Re: [BROYLES] Rosina Broyles descendant > Hi > I was wondering if you have any info on Madison Broyles and his wife > Catherine Plow? RINER named Gimison; however , I DO have a son named Andrew J. (Jimison or Gimison?) born 1822 (which would fit). Andrew J. DID have a son named Gimmason. The problem is that for Andrew J. (Andrew Jimison or Andrew Gimison?) I do not have a wife named PLOW. According to my database, he was married to a Mary J. (Polly) McGHEE. The dates and places fit, it's just that I have no wife named PLOW. I would love to see the data you have on this line, especially as it concerns the PLOW/PLOUGH/PLOEG line. I have spent a couple of hours searching the web/net for anything close to Hannah PLOW, using all spelling variants for Hannah and PLOW; even SOUNDEX doesn't bring up anything even close. Would really appreciate your data on Hannah. Thanks a bunch, SgtGeorge George W. Durman BROYLES Mailing List Manger GERMANNA_COLONIES Mailing List Manager
