I probably can`t shed any light on the Bird(Byrd) Wilhite connection but I have noticed that the wilhit family of Blount, Morgan and cullman Co`s of Al. have desc`s named Bird as a given name. and both were the very early steelers of this area. Though this "bunch" didn`t come through Isaac but did come through John Pittman and Mary McCoy(we think she was a McCoy) no mdg. record found uet. They came from the Green co.
