    2. No, the Germanna families were not Jewish. They were recorded in the parish records (baptisms, marriages, deaths) of Protestant German churches in the late 1600's and early 1700's. They also formed a Protestant church on this side of the pond. But that was 10 or more generations ago. Intermarriage since that time means that any modern Germanna descendant is likely to find quite a variety in his or her ethnic ancestry. Where did you find your information?
