I have been told his first name was William, with Daniel Boone Moore. He came across the mountains in 1799 to the Valley of Tennessee. He was married, but she died giving birth to a son which lived. Daniel then married Rebecca Broyles in Greene or Washington County Tennessee. I do not know who his first wife was. Boone is still used in the Moore family. Do you know if they were related to Daniel Boone or just a close friend, I have been told both. I would appreciate any information that you could share. Thank you, Janice
I found Rebecca Broyles (dau. of Adam Briles)b. ca 1780 md. Daniel Moore in Greene cO., TN 27, Mar. 1799 Lic. with Sparling Bowman as security. Doesn't say anything about him being md. 2 times. I have their children if you want them.
