This just proves the point that genealogy researchers should ALWAYS insist on documentation (original written proof) before accepting any "new" or "different/changed" data. Too many researchers go on "gut instinct" or "hunches" or "logic" when putting together their information. There is NOTHING that will substitute for written documentation!!!!! Sometimes, family lore/stories is helpful for getting CLUES to where written documentation might be found, but must always be taken with a "grain of salt". Regards, SgtGeorge
