Just a note to remind everyone about the differences between MAILING LIST posts here on these Lists and MESSAGE BOARD posts on the Ancestry and Rootsweb websites. Message Board posts are not the same as these Mailing List posts. The Board posts go directly to the Ancestry/Rootsweb websites; they are only copied to these Lists. That is, they are "gatewayed" from Boards to Lists. The problem is that many users are replying to such "gatewayed" posts directly here to the Lists. That won't work for this reason: Most posters to the Boards are not subscribers to the corresponding Lists; therefore, they usually do not see your replies, since the List replies are not reciprocally "gatewayed" back to the Boards. If you see posts here on these Lists that look like the following, please click on the provided URL link and post your reply there. You do not need to post here on the Lists, since your Board replies will be copied to these Lists.
