I don't know what kind of search you did, but I doubt very seriously that you found any Web/Internet references saying they were Jewish. For Heaven's sake, these people have been well documented, over and above any reasonable doubt, for several centuries, as being Lutherans! There are primary sources back to the beginning of the 16th Century showing that they belonged to Christian churches. If the names you listed were indeed listed as being in the "Nazi Ghettos", I would love to see the references. Of course, it's always possible that some of the descendants of our German ancestors, said descendants not immigrating to America but staying in Germany, ended up in Nazi ghettos.
