Death records were kept starting in 1908, so they are too late to be of help. Marriage records for the county are lost for years prior to 1838. But there are many other Campbell Co. records available on microfilm and you can probably get them on interlibrary loan at your local library. Some years ago I copied out all of the Broyles deeds, and I just checked them to see if they contained proof of Felix's relationship. Sadly, they don't. He lived on Stinking Creek, across the mountain from the Elk Valley where everyone else lived, so he wasn't involved in land transactions with his siblings. There might be some court records referring to Aaron Sr.'s death. He didn't leave a will, so an administrator would probably have been appointed by the monthly county court to settle the estate and perhaps the heirs might be named. It would be great if you could locate a descendant with a family Bible. Steve Broyles
