    3. (Gerald's query was originally posted to the Queries Board of the WILHITE Suite at Rootsweb GenConnect. I think that if you have any info for Gerald, you should reply both here on these Lists AND to his personal email address: gwilhite@abbeypress.com. I can't remember if he is a subscriber to the Lists or not.) Hello again Cousin Gerald. Now that we have you hooked up via the BROYLES connection, I would really like to add this line/branch to the informal database I maintain. Would appreciate names of the 8 children, spouses, dates, places, descendants, etc. When we get you hooked up via the William WILHITE side, I would also like to add that data. For those of you who may be new to this and other Germanna-related Lists I manage, I have several "informal" personal databases on my computer. What is meant by "informal" is that I don't require absolutely documented sources for the data others send me. My databases are not meant to be the final word in authenticity, just general references that I use when trying to get people, such as Gerald, hooked up to our various Germanna families. Even with documented sources, we often find errors in dates, places, spouses, children, etc., and I know that in undocumented databases the errors come more often; but, at least by comparing and searching the different databases, we can usually find a starting point for new researchers -- clues for them to pursue in establishing their ancestry. This was the case for Gerald; his BROYLES and WILHITE/WILHOIT ancestors were part of the migration from VA, first to KY, and then on to IN. Seems like several related BROYLES and WILHITE/WILHOIT families left VA, and their descendants just kept inter-marrying. Gerald's Catherine's mother was a WILHOIT!!!!! And her father descends from Adam BROYLES, who married a Mary WILHOIT/WILHITE. Sure wish I could tie Mary into the early WILHITE/WILHOIT line. (Gerald's ancestry also contains some Germanna CARPENTER/ZIMMERMAN ancestors.) Regards, SgtGeorge George W.
